If you just RSVP'd, make sure you reserve & purchase your bunk below if you plan to stay at camp. There are enough bunk beds at Camp Pinnacle to accommodate all guests, should you choose to stay with us. We recommend staying at camp, because it is where all the fun is happening on our wedding weekend! Camp Pinnacle is a kids summer camp and thus these accommodations are comfortable, but not luxurious. You can expect a clean cabin with bunk beds (should be enough for everyone to get bottom bunks), mattress, electrical outlets, screened windows, and storage for your luggage. There are shared bathrooms nearby with sinks and running water, flushing toilets, and individual shower stalls. A couple cabins have private bathrooms, but these will be reserved for older guests and families with children.
The cabin fees allow us to offer you accommodations at the wedding venue itself. It is our hope that this will be more economical (and convenient) than the hotels in town. We are simply using the third-party service called "EventBrite" to make the process a little bit more organized. If cabins aren't your thing, feel free to visit our accommodations page for other options in town! Please email Chelsea at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
We have come up with a short packing list of essential items if you are staying at camp. Generally, weather in North Carolina is not the most predictable. That being said, the mountains tend to be a little cooler year-round. Make sure to bring an extra sweatshirt or jacket in case the nights get chilly! The starred (*) items may be difficult to pack if you are traveling from out of town. Let us know if you need help with these items and we can try to find some for you to use over the weekend. The camp offers rentals for blankets and sheets for $12.50 for the weekend if you are unable to provide your own. Please include this information in the RSVP form if you are interested. If you have other questions, feel free to send Chelsea an email at email@example.com
Wedding attire (dressy casual)
Shower shoes / sandals for showering
Linens: sleeping bags and/or twin sheets*
Final Word: We will try to provide general snacks throughout the day on Saturday, outside of the regularly scheduled meals. If you have allergies/aversions, feel free to bring your own snacks that accommodate your own dietary restrictions. In addition, if you would like to enjoy adult beverages during the day on Saturday, feel free to bring your own. Just know that glass containers are prohibited at camp during the day.
